Important Dates

Monday, May 6th – please turn in family Flower homework

Thursday, May 9th –Kindergarten Performance and Open House! 

6:00 PM (Students need to be here at 5:45)

Open House begins at 6:30!  This is also a minimum day – All Ks come in the AM

Sunday, May 12th - Happy Mother’s Day!

Tuesday, May 14th – Minimum Day – Kindergarten Super “K” Science Day All Ks attend in the morning

Tuesday, May 21st End of year party!

Thursday May 23rd-Last day of school! (All K’s come in morning, 8:05-11:30!)

This school year has flown by, and our last few days are upon us!  In only 18 more school days your child will be leaving my classroom and moving on to another phase of his/her life.  It has been a challenging year, but one, I hope, that has given your child a sense of accomplishment and a lifelong love of learning.  I look forward to watching this class grow and make their                

     In the past, I have talked about kindergarten.  Today, I would like to offer suggestions as to how you might make the rest of your child’s school career a success.

Read to your child every night!

Take an interest in your child’s homework, but don’t do it for him/her.  Help your child take responsibility for their assignments.

Work with your child’s teacher to help best educate your child.

Send your child to school on time and ready to learn (well rested, fed and with a good attitude!).

Become involved in school activities. 

Wishing you and your family only the best in the coming years.
