Cyber Bullying - What can you do?

What can you do if your child is being cyber bullied?

RECOGNIZE - people online are not always who they say they are and take note of the bully's screen name or e-mail address

REFUSE - to open or read any messages from the cyber bully

RECORD - document the attempts of cyber bullying for law enforcement officials

RESPOND - by ignoring the bully at first and NEVER respond to a bully out of anger

REPORT - cyber bullying to the internet service provider, law enforcement (if serious), the school (if school related)
