All About Mrs. Cothron

I am orginally from Cadiz, KY where I graduated from Trigg County High School in 2003.  I graduated from Murray State University in May of 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Middle School Education.  My Core Content areas are Language Arts and Social Studies.  This is my third year teaching 6th grade Reading at Caldwell County Middle School.

In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, photography, reading good books, and running.  I also am a big fan of recycling, eating healthy foods, and the Chicago Bears.

This summer I married the love of my life.  Ryan and I were married on May 29.  He is absolutely amazing; I can't imagine life without him!  We currently live in Possum Trot (yes this is a real place) which is located in Marshall County.

We have three "children": Joseph, Peter, and Rosa.  Joseph, or better known as Joe, is a large, brown dog.  We are unsure what breed of dog he really is.  He definitely is the wisest and most well mannered of the three.  Peter (also known as Pete, Petey, P-Cat, or Peterson) was rescued from the Paducah Animal Shelter right before the Winter Storm in January 2009.  He is very fuzzy and always gets fed before anyone else.  Rosa is a Daschund-Beagle mix who is getting ready to celebrate her first birthday in September.  She has mastered several tricks including sit, lay down, and high-five.  She definitely is a little princess.
