  • Check the SMTP Server settings

  • Check the IMAP Server settings

Just like the SMTP settings help in sending the emails, the IMAP or the incoming server settings are the ones responsible for receiving emails. If thunderbird not working then, it can be possible that the IMAP settings are not correct and you need to check them and fix them. 

  • Disable the Firewall

If you have a firewall or antivirus then, this can also be responsible for this issue and this is why we recommend that you try to disable the antivirus and see if the issue is resolved or not.
