SAT/ACT Information

It is recommended that students take either the SAT or ACT (or both) during the Spring semester of their Junior year and possibly again in the Fall of their Senior year.  Students will need to register for these tests on either (SAT) or (ACT).   See below for graphic with anticipated Fall 2021 test dates. Students who receive Free or Reduced lunch are eligible for two SAT testing waivers and two ACT testing waivers. Students must have applied for Free or Reduced Lunch status on the county website here:

After you apply, an email or letter will be sent with your lunch status.  A copy of that letter must be emailed to Ms. Julynn Williams-Chandler,, so that you can be added to the waiver list. Once on the waiver list, you can request your testing waivers.  You must apply for Free or Reduced lunch status each school year.

If a student cannot find their original approval letter, they can request one by emailing, to request a copy of their approval letter .  The student should provide their first and last name, DOB and the school they attend.  A copy of their approval letter will then be sent to them as a .PDF attachment, which they can then share with their counselor to be added to the list.

Students who are eligible for accommodations should contact Ms. Williams-Chandler at
