My name is Gretchen Vizzi and I've been teaching for 23 years. I am currently teaching 5th grade at Hermosa Valley School. I've taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 5th grade and 6th grade. I received my Bachelor of Education degree at the State University of New York at Fredonia and my Reading Specialist Masters Degree at the California State University at Long Beach.
During my years as a teacher, I've conducted reading intervention programs at my school site, organized student summer book clubs, performed one-on-one tutoring, and I've been a beginning teacher mentor for 15 years. Being an educator is a passion of mine and I enjoy helping students as well as my fellow colleagues!
