Mr. Torre's Gifted Page

Welcome and Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
I am Mr. Torres. I will be your child's Gifted/Honors/Regular/Intensive Math instructor.

I am looking forward to working with you child to help him master the skills and concepts as well as provide step-by-step solutions to real world problems that will be needed to succeed in the End of Year (EOC) accessment.

Gifted Courses:
These classes incorporate many learning techniques to help maximaze your child's learning.
Students will be spending much time in pairs, groups, and one-on-one discussions to show and master skills and concepts covered in the course.
Students will be doing numerous hands on activities to help them reach a deeper understanding of the material covered.
Regarding assessments, Students will have different opportunities to show mastery of the concepts covered it he curriculum, such as presentations, powerpoints, oral examinations and project based assessment among others.
