My name is Heidi Nowicki and this is my 12th year teaching. I've taught in public, private, and charter schools. My forte is of course math, and as a certified and active teacher I also enjoy tutoring after school hours. I offer help for MS math, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Statistics, College Algebra, College Statistics, and ACT Prep.

My teaching style varies with the needs of my students. I sometimes incorporate games, silly ways to practice, collaborative projects, vidoes, and choice board activities. You can always count on notes and examples of every problem type I expect you to be able to solve. I do give frequent but short or flexible homework. I do not offer bonus points or extra assignments for the sake of improving scores.
