For 7th grade social studies we will begin with the Five Themes of Geography and Geography skills and concepts. During the first nine weeks and into the second nine weeks we will be exploring the Regions of Africa. We will focus on the physical geography of its regions, their human-environment interaction, the economy and their history/government. In the third nine weeks and into the fourth nine weeks we will be exploring the Regions of Asia. We will focus on the physical geography of its regions, their human-environment, their economy and history/government. During the remainder of the fourth nine weeks we will study Australia and Oceania.
