IF ABSENT FROM SCHOOL:
Week of March 9th-13th
- Question of the Day: Please write a journal entry of what you did over the March Break. Check for CLARITY of Ideas + Passé Composé. I will conduct an oral french interview once back to school.
- We are continuing to complete reading tests for the Term 2 Report Card. Please continue to read DAILY at the appropriate level. If more books are required, please email with you prefered level.
- Please complete your PROTOTYPE by Monday, March 16th.
- Please complete Power Play workbook pages 13-26.
- Begin brainstorming and preparing your table display using a variety of creative and unique ideas.

FRENCH
WE WILL HAVE A BRIEF PAUSE FROM THIS HOMEWORK AS WE FOCUS ON THE YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR SHOW.
* Students are responsible to read for 10-15 minutes in French Monday - Thursday.
All reading calendars are to be submitted the FIRST OF EVERY MONTH! Students are now using their agendas to log their reading homework.
IN THE EVENT OF A SCHOOL CLOSURE:
* Read in French 20+ minutes;
* Watch Netflix and select the FRENCH OPTION;
* Keep a French Journal of the day's activities;
* Call a friend and have a 5 minute conversation about the day IN FRENCH.
SOCIAL STUDIES
* We will be starting POWERPLAY YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS! This program uses a dynamic learning environment to help young people explore the world fo business.
Video-based tutorial "A Parent’s Guide to PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs" is also available free online to parents whose children are participating in the school program. Information about this guide is included in the Parent Information that comes with the Business Planning Kits(see letter sent home). The follow link will offer further information about this exciting program.

* Watch/Read the News in French;
* Find an interesting Netflix documentary on Canadian History;
* Research some interesting World Events that occurred on this day in history.
