Some MultiVersus Players Aren't Happy with Early Access

For any fans of platform fighting games such as Super Smash Bros. and Nickolodeon All-Star Brawl, MultiVersus would certainly seem an interesting title. Combining characters from all of Warner Media, including Jake the Dog from Adventure Time, Bugs Bunny, and an entire host of DC Superheroes, MultiVersus certainly has a strange roster. With fans waiting enthusiastically to play with this host of diverse characters, they were excited to hear an open beta for MultiVersus was launching soon, giving players an opportunity to see the game before it releases.

Before MultiVersus' open beta launches on July 26, some fans have already gotten an opportunity to play the game thanks to there being an early access work for those who pre-requested the special edition, got a Twitch drop code, or were a part of the closed beta. These players were granted beta access seven days before everyone else, and while getting on MultiVersus early may sound like a smart thought, some aren't happy with the game in its current state.A number of issues have been reported for MultiVersus within the first 24 hours of access, with the most problematic bug stopping the game from being played completely. This bug will leave players on a Syncing Account State screen, completely stopping them from having access to MultiVersus. Until the developers fixed the issue, which they have done recently, players were urged to continuously reset their systems in request to get an opportunity of getting onto the game. Considering the MultiVersus beta will supposedly act as a soft send off of the game, some fans are concerned that the game will require a bigger number of fixes than had first been anticipated.

Alongside a bug stopping players from getting into MultiVersus, some have found themselves incapable to access the Founders Pack items that they paid for. Already, some concerns are growing revolving around the microtransactions in MultiVersus, with players discovering that it costs $255 to open each cosmetic in the game. This is especially worrying for those who like to put in the hours to procure everything in a game, as the $255 cost mark is for items that must be bought in request to be claimed in MultiVersus.

As mentioned, the problems with the Syncing Account Screen have reportedly been fixed as of the time of writing, and the issue regarding inaccessible Founders Pack items has been solved as well. Ideally, with these problems out of the way, players can appreciate MultiVersus in anticipation of its full release later this year. Reasonable, there will be some new information on the game before then, such as new characters joining the MultiVersus roster.
