This is an example of a behaviour management strategy which can be utilised at the beginning of the year, or to revisit expectations in a classroom meeting. Each student individually completes a "Y Chart"  and brings their ideas to collaboratively complete a whole class chart. Students need to consider what they think their ideal classroom feels like, looks like and sounds like. Through negotiation the whole class then developes guidelines and strategies to create this classroom climate.
