Sloths are slow moving mammals, and they live in the trees of the rainforest.

They are the size of a small dog, and have short, greyish-green fur.

Sloths live in the tops of the trees in the rainforest.

They hang upside down by their sharp claws, and can live in the same tree for years.

Sloths are noncturnal (sleep during the day), but they can sleep for up to 18 hours at a time.

Sloths sleep curled up in a ball, so they are hidden away from prey.
