READING - We will be reading the stories "Wonderful Worms" and "Anansi and the Biggest, Sweetest Melon".We will write the letter Oo this week. The skills are writing sentences, writing questions, finding the main idea, retelling a story, and end punctuation. We will write a message, write a dialogue, and write action words.
WRITING-We will write a group story in class. The children will continue to write in their journals about various topics.
MATH - We will be working on counting, reading, and writing numbers to 100. We will be skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s. We will work on Ch. 7 on "Time and Money." We will learn to count coins.
CAREERS - We will be reviewing bus safety rules daily with the class, we will also be reciting the Pledge of Allegiance . We will discuss the weather in science. We will also be discussing various careers.
