Hi There,
I started my love of history at a young age when I visited a Spanish mission in California on a fourth grade field trip. I was fasinated by the buildings and the stories they told. From that point forward I loved learning about the people and places of the past. My 11th grade United States history teacher, Mr. Pew, is the teacher who got me thinking about a career in history. I headed off to the University of Arizona, majored in history and became a history teacher. :) I hope is that I can transfer my love of history to each of my students and they can see that history is more than words on a page.
When I am not in the classroom and I am a wife and mom to two young boys, Hudson and Walker. We love to take car trips around the United States visiting family. I also enjoy home improvment and decorating as well as sports.
