Ms. Katie Brait
Hi! My name is Katie Brait and I work with the Special Education class in room 105. I have been working with speical needs since my junior year at Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois. I grew up in Glenview for 18 years until I went away to Texas Christian University. At TCU, I majored in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on Special Ed, and also minored in Habilitation of the Deaf.
In our class, we like to see learning as something fun! We start off our class talking about the basics in the calendar (like the month and day), the weather, and what is on the agenda for the day. There are several Teacher Assistants in the class that help the students do their individual work.
