Our Classroom Website

Princeton Elementary is a Public School program for children ages 4-11 years. It provides an enriching, supportive environment for Simpson Elementary students who require specialized instruction along with their typically developing peers. Our curriculum is based on the West Virginia Common Core State Standards, and incorporates the I-Ready program used here at Princeton. Our staff is a team of highly qualified professionals which includes special education teachers, occupational and physical therapists, a behaviorist, a speech/language pathologist and education support professionals. We work together to build a strong classroom community where we encourage the children to embrace their differences and strive to be the best that they can be.

"Children may not remember everything they learned in your class, but they will remember how you
made them feel. Always preserve the dignity of the child." -Sara Prouty
"I think you learn more if you're laughing at the same time." -Mary Ann Shaffer
