Story: Review/Discuss - "The Hot and Cold Summer" - Realistic Fiction

2. Grammar Skill: Continue to Review - Declarative and Interrogative Sentences

3. Math: - Continue to Review/Assess Multiplication 1-6

4. Continue Reading/Language Arts Assessment

HOMEWORK:

1. One page of Multiplication

2. Write a short story (one paragraph) using 6 of the spelling words. Make sure one sentence is declarative and one interrogative.

WEDNESDAY - August 8th

Spelling/Robust Vocabulary: Continue to define vocabulary

Story: Review/Discuss - "Secret Talk" - Poetry

2. Grammar Skill: Review - Exclamatory and Command Sentences

3. Math: -Review/Assess Multiplication 7-12

4. Continue Reading/Language Arts Assessment

HOMEWORK:

1. One page of Multiplication

2. Write a paragraph about a pact you made with a friend or relative.

THURSDAY - August 9th

Spelling/Robust Vocabulary: Continue to define vocabulary

Story:Compare/Contrast- Both the story and the poem
