Whew! We made it through the first full week back. Seems like we have been here forever, but I mean this in a good way. We have all gotten to know each well last year, which has made settling in all the more smoother this year.
We spend a lot of time taking beginning of the year assessments in math and will take one on Monday in ELA. Our brand new World History books have arrived.
Next week on Thursday, I hope to see everyone for Curriculum Night (formerly known as Open House). It begins at 6:00 in the Cafetorium. Please try to come, even if for a short time. I would love to meet all of my student's parents on such a fun night.
No official homework for the night. I just hope that everyone reads for a bit each night and logs onto IXL at least one time over the weekend for 20 minutes.
