Early Childhood Links for Kids

Here you will find a list of excellent  websites that be used with children of the early childhood age range (2-8). I include the ages from 2 and up due to the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP)suggestions that children ages 2 and under should not be allowed any screen time (television, computers, tablets, etc.) This is due to the fact that children of this age are growing and developing daily and research shows that infants and toddlers benefit most from interactions with caregivers and their environments. Children ages 2 and up are recommended to have a limit of 2 hours per day of screen time by the AAP. If you would like to read more information about the AAP's guidelines and suggestions for appropriate media usage in childhood click here.
