Science Unit 1 August/September (about 5 weeks)- Students will be learning about hear energy.  They should be able to explain the different types; suhnlight, friction, and burning, and identify the different tools used to measure heat such as a thermometer (both Fahrenheit and Celsius).

Students should be reading 20 minutes daily and recording what they have read daily in their reading logs.  Each month students will be asked to complete a book report as well.

It is also very important for students to practice math facts every day as well.

We are the best 3rd grade class!!!
