Dear Families,
Welcome! My name is Lauren Cox. I am a third year teacher at SanLee Middle School. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2010. I graduated with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. I recently began graduate level studies at East Carolina University. I am pursuing a masters degree in Special Education.
In July of 2011, I married my high school sweetheart. We have two dogs, Brady and Bo. Brady is young and very energetic. We also have a kitten named Chloe. We recently found her and nursed her back to health. She is now a healthy and happy kitten. Matt and I also enjoy camping, kayaking, and fishing.
I am looking forward to working with you this school year. I will be contacting you throughout the year to inform you of your child’s progress and to schedule meeting. Please feel free to contact me at any point throughout the school year.
