March 14 - Monday -Advisory Schedule

English I students took the Vocabulary test for units 13-17 today.  If a student has not turned in his/her vocabulary classwork, he/she should as soon as possible.

In addition, we reviewed To Kill a Mockingbird.  White 1 will take the novel test on Wednesday.  G -1 and 

G-3 will take the test on Thursday. 

Students were asked to write in a paragraph:  How did Bob Ewell really die?   

March 7- 11 

Wow!  CRazy week.  Ultimately, within the csap schedule, all English I classes should have taken a quiz on Vocabulary 17, received a review packet for Vocab 13- 17, turned in any study guides they still had for To Kill a Mockingbird, turned in classwork for vocab 13-17.

Next week March 14- 17 - Parent Teacher conferences will be held Tuesday and Thursday.  The students will not have school on Friday March 18.

TESTS - Students will have a BIG - Vocabulary Test on Monday March 14.  - We will then review To Kill a Mockingbird with a NOVEL test on either Wednesday or Thursday March 16 or 17 depending on Green and White schedule.

That should wrap things up as we head into spring break.

Everyone present completed a 60 minute evaluation on Reading and Vocabulary skills.  The test will reveal the grade level of your present comprehension and vocabulary skills. 

In addtion:  1.   We took the quiz on Vocabulary Unit 1.

                         2.   Took IMPORTANT Notes on Parts of Speech

                        3.    And, received the "Positive Mental Attitude Poster" Assignment which is due Tuesday, Sept. 14.

                       4.     Remember, do not carry your textbook to class on Monday, Sept. 13. (My gift to you. LOL)
