My name is Lynda Burnett and I have been teaching at Trinity Episcopal Day School for eighteen years. This is my fourth year as a kindergarten teacher and I previously taught first grade for fourteen years.
I attended L.S.U. for three and a half years and Nicholls State for a year and a half where I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education.
I have three children all of whom attended Trinity and graduated from Episcopal High School. My daughter Leslee is currently in Medical School in New Orleans. My oldest son Brandon is an engineer and works for the Entergy Riverbend Station. My younger son, Kevin, is currently attending Baton Rouge Community College and works for Extended Care at Trinity in the afternoons.
Gwen Jewell and I are the Camp Theodore Co-directors during the summer. It is a summer camp program held at Trinity for children ages 3 through fifth grade.
My husband is Dean Burnett and also works for Entergy. We live in Riverbend Subdivision and are avid L.S.U. baseball and football fans.
