My name is Lyndsy Frederick. I've been teaching at Williams Middle School since 2000. I have taught seventh grade for ten years, and eighth grade for one year. I received my Bachelors degree from California State University, Sacramento and my Masters degree and administrative credential through National University. My husband's name is Michael and he is a captain for the City of Tracy Fire Department. We have two children, Drew age 7 who is in second grade at Hirsch Elementary and Katelyn age 6 who is in first grade at Hirsch.
My family has long roots here in Tracy. I graduated high school from Tracy High in 1994. My parents, Brent and Lynda Ives, graduated from Tracy High in 1971 and 1974. My grandmother, Betty Ives, also graduated from Tracy High (known then as El Portal) in the 1950s. I was raised within the Tracy Public School District and I am now raising my children within the same district.
I love teaching! I like to make personal connections with each student and drive each student to do their best academically, socially, and morally. I'm excited to begin a new year and find new adventures within each year.
