I view our relationship as a partnership where open communication is essential. Therefore, to ensure that we are in touch, I will be sending out weekly newsletters and weekly grams. In addition, this website can keep you up to date with important events and information.
If you ever need to contact me you can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org, leave a note in your child’s homework folder, or call the main office (244-5680). I will get back to you within 24 hours.
Notes and Money:
Please send any notes to school in your child’s homework folder. The children know each morning they are to check their folders and deposit any communications in my “note box.” If you are sending in money to school for lunch, book orders, PTA, field trips, etc. please do so in an envelope labeled with your child’s name and class 1-1 on it. Do not send loose change.
These are required and due the day your child returns to school. Please be prompt. Absent notes are required each time your child is absent. This is school district policy. If you call the nurse you still have to follow-up with a written excuse.
Throughout the school year there are three half-days that are designated days for parent-teacher conferences (Dec.15th, Dec. 16th, and March 30th ). However, conferences can be scheduled as needed, and can be recommended by you or myself.
