I grew up in Baltimore, MD, attended Catholic school for 12 years, and graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Speech Pathology. I received a Master's Degree in K-12 Education from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. Before coming to OLL, I taught in the Durham and Wake County Public Schools at the high school and middle school levels. I have been teaching third grade at Lourdes for 16 years. I started the girls' lacrosse program here twelve years ago, and I run a summer lacrosse lacrosse camp for rising 2nd through 6th grade girls. I am married to Ben, and we have two children, Ben and Lane, who attended Lourdes and Cardinal Gibbons. They are now college graduates of Virginia Military Institute and Elon University, respectively. Getting used to the empty nest, I keep myself busy with running, reading, and spending treasured time with my family and friends whenever I can!
