Hello everyone!

For hobbies, I read books, sewed dresses & costumes, and designed houses.

In May 2017, I graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in California, PA as summa cum laude with a major in Secondary Education, concentrating in English 7-12. Being enrolled in Penn Highland dual-enrollment in high school, I was able to graduate a year early from college. I also completed my student teaching at Bethlehem-Center Area High School teaching 10th graders English.

Before I was hired as Family & Consumer Science/ Agriculture teacher at Mt. Union Area Jr.- Sr. High School in July 2017, I gain certification in Library/ Media and FCS. By January 2018, I was certified to teach Agriculture. My first year of teaching I taught multiple levels of FCS, two sections of Early Childhood, and a section of an agriculture course of Food Science. The following year at Mt. Union, I taught two agriculture classes including Food Science and FFA Leadership & Communications, as well as my multiple levels of FCS. After two years at Mt. Union, I left to relocate to DuBois, PA, the area my husband grew up in.

For 2019-2020 school year, I am the high school librarian and teach Careers in Business & Leadership and Careers in Business Ownership. I am an advisor to DAHS Book Club where students read books and compete at local and regional competitions. In the future, I will be starting the FCS program at DAHS.
