Using videos online and in the classroom
I find that showing and discussing videos from YouTube is a great why to present content.  Finding good videos takes time so it's important to organize them so for easy access once you've found them.  Sign in to a free Youtube account and you can personalize your page to keep and categorize your favorite videos, build and share playlists and more.  If you're in a hurry, you might fine using a video aggregator such as aggrega that categorizes videos according to topic.  Type in "earth science" and several sites containing earth science videos are displayed. Other useful sites is uvoch    and videosurf. You may want to show an entire NOVA episode in class.  Full length TV shows are available on HULU.
