Welcome to Mrs. Riffel's classroom

***Thank you to all who helped with the fun run !!

Thank you parents, for coming out to support our class.  We loved it!

I will be starting parent/teacher conferences soon.  If you would like to have a phone conference instead of coming in to school, let me know so it can be arranged.

Thank you.

Notices:  We have a few children in the classroom with food allergies (nuts and wheat products).  Please keep this in mind when sending in any kind of food for the class.

I allow the children to have snack each day.  Please send something that is healthy and easy to eat while continuing with our schoolwork.

The classroom tends to be quite chilly at times.  You may want your child to keep a sweatshirt in their backpack.

Homework-> On Monday mornings your child will be expected to copy their homework for the week into their agendas.  Your children should expect to have Spelling and Math homework each night except on the weekends.

Spelling:  Day 1- Day 4 with the test on Friday along with the vocab test.

Tests:  For all subjects there will be a test at the conclusion of the chapter or unit.  Your child will have this information written in their agendas.  It will not be listed on this site.

Math:  Each night there will be 2 pages of Benchmark Math and 1 page of Enrichment.  This homework needs to be returned the following morning as we review it each day before starting our new lesson.
