Netiquette

 

What is Netiquette?

Netiquette is basically internet etiquette.  It is the right way of communicating on the internet.  It also means having respect for others views and displaying courtesy when posting your views to online discussion groups.

Online communication involves reading something someone else has typed. Too often messages can often be misinterpreted.  However, if we all follow netiquette, online communication becomes clearer. Especially in business or career related online communications netiquette should be used to guarantee that correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation are put in place to development professionalism.

Cyberbullying is a good example of displaying bad netiquette, because it cause intentional harm to others communicating on the internet.
