ABOUT ME
I have been teaching English at Hickory High School for five years. Before I became a teacher, I was an award-winning journalist, so I try to bring a "real world" approach to teaching English.
I am a Hampton Roads native. I graduated from Great Bridge High School and attended Tidewater Community College and Old Dominion University. I earned a master's degree in English from ODU.
I have been married for 13 years, and we have two awesome kids ages 6 and 8.
