 What do people in India celebrate?

People all over the world celebrate for special reasons. The celebrations could be from traditions, heritage, or just for fun.

One festival is called Dasehra. Its one of the chief festivals of India, celebrated in September or October. It symbolizes the triump of Good over Evil.

Another Festival is called Dipavali, otherwise known as the festival of lamps. It's celebrated in October or November and all homes are lit with lamps with lamps or candles to show great joy.

People in India also celebrate Christmas. it's celebrated by Christians throughout India. In some northern villages, groups of Christians sing Native Christian carols to the accompaniment of musical instruments.
