My first day of my Final Internship! =)
Hello! My name is Chrissy Demaris. I am a final intern from the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg. During the next nine weeks, I will be a part of your child`s third grade learning experience. It is going to be a fun quarter full of learning and new adventures!
I was born in Maine and moved to Florida when I was a child. I have one older brother and live with my mother and father, who are both teachers as well! I attended elementary, middle and high school locally here in Hernando County. Currently, I attend USFSP and I am enlisted in the Undergraduate Program to attain my degree in Elementary Education grades 1-6. I will also be certified with ESE, ESOL, and Reading. I am so excited to graduate in December and begin my own teaching journey.
I am looking forward to teaching and working with your child. During this time, I will be learning and implementing exciting and effective teaching strategies that will benefit your child’s education. I will strive to create interesting and engaging lessons and activities that will enable your child to be creative and to learn in new ways. I look forward to the next eight weeks in your child’s classroom with excitement and anticipation and believe it will be a wonderful and beneficial experience for everyone involved.
Throughout my internship in Mrs. Cameron’s class, I will be videotaping and taking photographs of myself teaching and working with children. All videos and photographs will be reviewed by myself, my University of South Florida supervisor, Mr. Gary Tucker, and Mrs. Cameron. Please sign and return the portion below indicating if I have your permission to use a photograph or video of your child for my internship portfolio.
Please feel free to contact me any time. You may reach me by email: email@example.com I can also be reached at Suncoast Elementary School in Mrs. Cameron’s room from 7:45 A.M. to 4:15 P.M. The school phone number is (352) 797-7085. Thank you and I look forward to working with your child this semester!
