After decades of teaching and experiences in both public and private school with our two children, I know how very important good communication is between parents and teachers. I will always have your child's best interest at heart and recognize and understand that you know your child best. If you have any information about your child that you feel is important for me to know in order to best meet their needs, feel free to email me. Any and all information you share with me I will hold in the utmost confidence.
If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent and are interested in getting assignments ahead of time, please contact me and I will do my best to provide your child with the materials and lessons we will be doing that week. In the case of absence, please check the Weekly Class Summary page on this website to see what was missed. Upon your child's return to class, I will happily provide assignments that can be completed at home when appropriate. Please understand that alot of what we will be doing in class will involve discussion and activities we do together...therefore it is difficult for me to provide your child with the exact classroom experience.
I encourage you to read the class summaries and information that I post weekly so that you will be able to be involved and aware of what the kids are doing in class each week. This information will assist you as you help and encourage your child. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns you may have.The best way to contact me is by email.
