My name is Enrique Maldonado. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have been a teacher for as long as I have been married(twenty-five years). I have three beautiful children. I enjoy running on the beach and working out. I graduated from The University of Connecticut where I earned a Bachelor's Degree and a few years later I completed a Master's Degree at Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico.
My teaching phylosophy is one that promotes a humanistic approach where each child is viewed as a unique individual with the capabilities to develop to his or her fullest potential. To me, teaching is the most professionally challenging career, but at the same time, it is the most personally rewarding. I would like to add that after so many years of teaching, I still have the inner fire and passion to teach.
