Instructions:

 

  1. Locate two sources that provide information about the causes of the American Revolution. You may use use two of the sources shown above.

 

  1. Evaluate the reliability of each source using the source evaluator handout. (This form is shown above.)

 

  1. Write a bibliographic entry for each source utilized. Use your textbook or the Purdue OWL Writing Lab for help with citation guidelines. (I have given you the Purdue documents.)

 

  1. Summarize key points of interest from the source and include at least one direct quote or paraphrased quote with the proper parenthetical citation.

 

  1. Write a reflection that includes the name and author of the work, why you chose it, what you learned from it, and how you might use this information in a formal essay.

  1. Two one page entries (one page per source), which must include the following elements:
