It is not uncommon to click on the send button in Gmail and later realize that it had errors or sent it to another recipient. Gmail offers a feature called 'Gmail Undo Send' for users like us. With the currently updated Gmail Application, you can now use Undo Send on your mobile device too.
To know how to recall an email in Gmail after 10 minutes, here's what you need to do:
- Sign in to your Gmail Account. Once you are logged in, click on the Settings icon on the Gmail page's top-right corner.
- Now, click on the Settings option and go to enable undo send. You need to checkmark the given box and choose the cancellation time from 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds.
- After choosing the cancellation period and click save to restore settings.
- Now, when you compose a new message and send it, you will undo the send action before the seconds chosen in the previous step expire.
Some people do not have access to this feature because of their old phones or the version not updated. In that case, you can sign in to a new device using the QR code. On a device you are already signed in, open the browser and enter g.co/verifyaccount. You will be directed to the verification page where it will show a message to verify you. Next, you need to read and follow the on-screen instruction.
