For the week of November 30to December 4
This week the students will be reading the fable "Belling the Cat." A fable is a story in which the characters are animals and a moral or a lesson is taught.
Monday: Read the story and answer the 7 questions, Remember to underline the answers.
Tuesday: Vocabulary. Re-read the story and use context clues to determine the meaning; highlight the vocabulary words in yellow.
Wednesday: Point of View. Read through the story to find the different points of view. Enter the words in the spaces.
Thursday: Quotation Marks. We have done lots of practice with quotation marks in class so this page should be easy.
This week we will be working with vowel sounds in two-syllable words.
