This week, we will spend our time reviewing, practicing for our program, and tying up any loose ends before our last day.

Our field trip to Elms Beach is Tuesday.  Don't forget to put sunscreen and insect repellent on your child before he/she comes to school that day.  Everyone needs to bring a bag lunch for our trip.  Everything will be thrown away after lunch, so please do not send re-usable containers in your child's lunch.  Be sure to put your child's name on his/her lunch.  No glass bottles, please!

On Thursday, we will have an ice cream party to celebrate our summer birthdays.

I hope everyone can join us for our end-of-the-year celebration on Friday.  Thank you for returning forms and money for our pizza party.  Thanks in advance to Rachael's mom for the cake she has offered to make for us!  Also, thank you for offers to donate other items for the celebration.  The program will begin around 11:00 in the gym.  The children will perform songs/poems and receive certificates before we celebrate with pizza and cake.   If you would like to take your child home after the celebration, there will be a sign-out sheet.  Also, if you have other class picnics to attend and would like to take your Kindergartner (actually, First Grader smiley) with you, be sure to sign him/her out when you go.  I will try to send home all supplies and belongings your child has at school before Friday.

I will be putting together a summer work packet for the children to reinforce skills we have worked on throughout the year.
