My name is Mrs. Mazzella DiBosco....that's a lot of name, so my students call me Ms. D. Parents can call me Ms. Mazzella or Ms. DiBosco or even my whole last name if preferred. If calling the office, please use my last name, not Ms. D. While I have only been teaching full time at Silver Ridge Elementary for two years, I was a substitute teacher before being hired full time. This will be my third year teaching at Silver Ridge full time. I have taught fourth grade, fifth grade, and now third grade. However, I am not new to the Silver Ridge family. As a mom, I have been involved in Silver Ridge since my now twenty four year old son started here in first grade. Since then, I have had four more children through Silver Ridge with one of them still here in fifth grade. I know as a parent and a teacher that Silver Ridge is a wonderful school!
My teaching philosophy begins with the belief that we are all lifelong learners. I like to think that learning begins, but never has to end. I am always learning new things and applying what I learn in the classroom. I hope that children are encouraged to be lifelong learners also. Parents are their child's first teacher and I look forward to our partnership supporting the education of your child.
