Classroom Technology Rules

Due to the growing use of technology in the classroom, it is important that we set rules for using technology in the classroom and discuss each rule and our expectations with our students.

Classroom Technology Rules:

  • When using the Internet, only visit approved websites
  • NEVER give out your personal information (Email address, password, name, number, etc.)
  • If you see something that makes you feel uncomfortable or that is inappropriate, tell your teacher immediately
  • NEVER download something without your teacher’s permission
  • After you are done using the computer, leave your area the way you found it, this includes logging out of the computer/device
  • Receive permission before printing something
  • Do NOT change the settings on the computer unless you have permission
  • Be gentle with the devices
  • Place devices on charger when not using them
  • Do NOT eat or drink around the devices
  • If you have a problem with your device, raise your hand to ask for assistance
