My Classroom Website

  Welcome to Room E-54!!!

Please check your child’s backpack for a packet of important information regarding our classroom and the PTA> Please join the PTA when you have a chance. It is a great resource and contributes to all children’s learning environment. A hot pink letter came home that gave you a little information about me and the classroom as well as a supply list. Please have supplies in by the end of the week. It is crucial to have the students learn the organizational skills as soon as possible. Supplies are not required to attend school; however, participation is beneficial to your child and is greatly appreciated.

Please contact me if you have any questions. I am available Monday or Wednesday after school at 2:20 without an appointment. You can also make an appointment for other days and times. Please do not come in the classroom during school hours, it is very disruptive to the learning environment. Please see the wonderful office staff for any questions or email me if they are unable to answer your questions.

Hope to see you at Back to School Night on September 1, 2011 at 7:00!! Lots of helpful information will be given! Also, a raffle prize for a lucky family!

Please check here often for important news, assignments and events.

Thank you!!

"Whose child is this?" I asked one day
Seeing a little one out to play
"Mine" said the parent with the tender smile
"Mine to keep a little while
To bathe his hands and comb his hair
To tell him what he is to wear
To prepare him that he may always be good
And each day to do things he should"

"Whose child is this" I asked again
As the door opened and someone came in
"Mine" said the teacher with the same tender smile
"Mine to keep just for a little while
To teach him how to be gentle and kind
To train and direct his dear little mind
To help him live by every rule
And get the best he can from school"

"Whose child is this" I ask once more
Just as the little one entered the door
"Ours" said the parent and the teacher as they smiled
and each took the hand of the little child
"Ours to love and train together"

Ours this blessed task forever".
