I am a native of St.George, SC and happily reside in the same place I grew up. I completed my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and M.Ed. in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina. I completed my Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades as well as served as a reading interventionist. I have tutored part-time for the last 10 years. I am currently enrolled as an Ed.D. student in Curriculum and Instruction at Liberty University.
I have a wonderfully supportive husband of almost five years and a two year-old son. We enjoy time spent with our large families and groups of friends, cheering on the Gamecocks, getting outside for golf cart or bike rides, and going to the beach.
