About Miss Smith

Welcome to our class website. I'm glad you stopped by.

This year will be my 9th year of teaching.

I've had the joy of teaching both second and third grade at MOSS. I taught second grade for 4 years and will be entering my 5th year as a third grade teacher for the 2010-2011 school year.

I hold a PA Instructional II certificate in:

Elementary Education
Reading Specialist Education
Early Childhood Education

I completed my Masters of Education (M.Ed) in:

Reading Education from Edinboro University of PA in 2007
Instructional Technology in Education from Seton Hill in 2005

I completed my Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Grove City College in 2002.

I'm an avid cat lover, computer lover, and craft lover! I enjoy spending my free time working on digging up old records from history related to my own family, reading books of all genres, taking in a relaxing movie, writing a fun story, and so many other fun and exciting things. I'm always looking to learn about something new, just like I hope all my students will as well.
