Differentiated Instruction

In Room 17, we will be learning all year!

I will keep all of my cubs interests and learning strengths in mind when designing my lesson plans, projects, activities, and field trips. I want to make sure that every cub is offered a way to finish an assignment in a way that they enjoy and prefer to learn. Of course, there will be activities where everyone will be required to do the same assignment, but as often as I can, I will provide choices for my cubs to choose how they prefer to show their understanding of a concept! I will use Robert Sternberg's principles on teaching analytically, practically, and creatively, as well as Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences (linguistic, logical/mathematical, musical, bodily/kinesthetic, spatial, naturalist, intrapersonal, interpersonal, existential).
