Classroom Rules
In collaboration with my students, we have created a list of our Classroom Rules. Each of these rules are modeled after the Six Pillars of Character:

We will be honest in our schoolwork, to one another and to Ms. Human.
We will care for everyone's mind, body and soul.
We will come to class prepared.
We will treat each other fairly.
We will keep our school clean and safe.
Individual Rewards

Students will have the ability to earn Good Behavior Bucks for good behavior. Everytime I see a student following the classroom rules, being kind to another student, displaying on-task behavior, etc. they will be rewarded with a Good Behavior Buck. Every other Friday, students will have the ability to "buy" prizes from Ms. Human's prize store using the bucks they have earned.
Class Rewards

The entire class will have the ability to earn rewards based on good behavior. Each time the class behaves well during class instruction, field trips, school assemblies, etc., I will move our good behavior smiley face down our good behavior line. Every time they get to the end of the line (30 squares), the class will receive a reward. The reward is selected by having the Star Student for that week spin the Reward Wheel.
Possible rewards are:
Movie Day
Game Day
Ice cream social
Pizza party
Extra recess
Pajamas & Slippers Day

Consequences

As with all classrooms, there will be days where students choose not to obey our Classroom Rules. The consequences for these instances are as follows:
1st time: Verbal Warning
2nd time: Student will have to fill out a Behavior Consequence form explaining what they did, why they did it and how they can behave differently in the future.
3rd time: I will call home and notify the parents/care givers of the student and ask that they sign the Behavior Consequence form.
