"Fall Reflections"
We used mixed media to create a piece called "Fall Reflections". To begin with we discussed the colours of trees in Autumn. Then we divided our page in half across the middle. Using chalk, the children drew their trees and then folded this over to make a print. Using paint brushes they dappled their trees with Autumn colours and then made a print below. When this was dry they used chalk to blend in background features and tones of the sky, grass and water. We thinks that they are amazing! What do you think?
Single Colour Collage
One of our first art lessons was to explore colour tones. Who knew that there were so many shades of the one colour. We then made a single colour collage of a colour of our choice.
