Spring Break!

Spring break will be from March Friday 30 to April 8. School will resume on April 9th 2018! Enjoy the break! 

No School! 

There will be no school on Wednesday, March 7th due to Waiver Day!

Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday Mrs. Bozin, whose birthday is on March 6th!

Valentine Exchange:

We will be passing out Valentines on Wednesday, February 14th. If your child wants to bring Valentinces (this is optional) they must have 1 for every stduent. We have 25 students in our class! Please do not write stduent names on Valentines. Our Valeninte exchange will go a lot faster if names are left black. Thank you for understanding and helping make this a fun activitiy! 

No School!

There will be no school on Monday, February 5th due to Waiver Day!

100th Day of School:

The 100th day of school on Friday 2nd, 2018! A letter week home asking if you are out and about in the next coming days, we are in need of pony beads and small snacks such as goldfish, raisins, M & Ms, etc. for our day of celebration! 

Parent-Teacher Conferences:

The dates of the Winter Parent-Teacher Conferences are January 30 and February 1. Paper went home with each child to sign up for a date and time in their take home folders!

There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 15 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! 

Early Release Day

There is a two hour earyl release day and the end of the second grading period on Friday, January 12. Please make arragnments for your child to return home TWO HOURS EARLY! 

Winter Wonderland Week (12/11/2017)

We are celebrating! Our PK-2 students will celebrate the season the week of December 18-21!

Monday Dec. 18- Wear green and red

Tuesday Dec. 19- Wear a Santa or holiday themed hat

Wednesday Dec. 20- Wear a holdiey themed sweater

Thursday Dec. 21- Wear Pajamas

We will have our Winter Wonderland program on Thursday, December 21. 

Field Trip! (12/04/2017)

We are going on our first field trip in Kindergarten! We will be going to Deyor Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, December 13 to see Miracle on Easy Street. Listed below is important information for this trip.

  • We will be leaving on teh buses at 8:50AM and returning to school by 12:30PM. Dismissal will be as usual. Please make sure your child is on time for school this day or they will not be able to attend once the bus leaves!

  • We will eat lunch when we return. The school cafeteria will make a pack lunch for your child or they can pack from home.

  • We would like the students to dress up for this trip! Wear your fancy dress, skirt, dress shirt, tie, etc. for the show. 

  • Make sure your child does not bring any personal items or money. 

  • Parent chaperones are not needed for this trip due to limited seating. Chaperones will be needed for future trips.

  • All children must ride the bus to Deyor and back.

  • Please sign the paper that went home with your child and return it to school as soon as possible. Your child cannot attend this trip without this form returned. 

Winter Wodnerland Donations! (12/04/2017)

Can you help us? We need the following for our Winter Wonderland event on Thursday, Decemeber 21. 

1 package of BLUE "squeeze it" drink bottles.

1 package of Oreo's

1 bag of chocolate chip

1 bag of colored mini marshmallows

A paper went home for you to fill out if you can donate any items. If you would like to voluteer the event is Decemeber 21 from 1:00 to 3:15. Mark the space on the note that went home and we will contact you. 

Thanksgiving Time! (11/13/2017)

It's Thanksgiving time in Kindergarten! We would like to celebrate the hard work we have done with learning about the first thanksgiving, being thankful, and family traditions with a Thanksgiving snack. Listed below are things we need of for our Tuesday snack. Please return this form by Friday so we can plan accordingly if you would like to donate.

Book Fair!(11/11/2017)

Beginning on Friday, November 10th, and running through Friday, November 17th, the school book fair will be set up on the stage. Children will be permitted to purchase books at a scheduled class time, or with a parent during either of our conference nights.

New Socks! (11/03/2017)

The Trumbull County American Legion Council is collecting new socks that will be donated to Ohio Veterans admitted to Wade Park, Sandusky Veterans Nursing Home and area nursing home. From November 1st through December 1st you can send new white adult socks with your child to be collected for this great cause! 

Parent Teacher Conferences: (10/30/2017)

Lincoln’s fall conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 14th and Thursday, November 16th from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Look for information in your child's folder or call the office to make an appointment. 

Red Ribbon Week! (10/22/2017)

Red Ribbon Week is back! The theme this year is "Your future is KEY..So stay DRUG FREE!"

Monday Oct. 23- Wear Red for Red Ribbon Week Kick-off!

Tuesday Oct. 24- "I'm too BRIGHT for drugs"- wear bright colors or neon to school!

Wedesnday Oct. 25- "Sock it to drugs"- wear your craziest socks to school!

Thursday Oct. 26- "I'm a JEAN-ious I'm Drug Free"- wear your favorite jeans!

Friday Oct. 27- "W.A.R.R.E.N. Raiders are Drug Free"- show your school spirit wear you Raider colors! 

Harvest Party! (10/20/2017)

Our classroom harvest pary will be on October 27th, 2017! The class will play games and do fall centers during this time. Listed below are items we are in need of for our Harvest Celebration. On friday (10/20/2017) students went home with a print out version where you can cut off the bottom of the page to sign up to bring something in! We have a total of 27 students in our class. Thank you!

Kindergarten Color Days! (9/14/2017)

Starting Monday, September 18th, the kindergarten classroom will start wearing different colors each day! During the school day, we will be reading and doing activities that pertain to color of the day! You can help us out by dressing your child in the color of the day. Be creative! Don't go out and buy clothes for a certain color, hair bows or socks will work fine! Your child's homework for each color day is to bring a magazine picture or draw an object that is that days color. Do not send all of the pictures in at the same time. We will be making a chart for each color. This is a fun activity for the children and they really enjoy participating in it each day!
