This is my 29th year of teaching and my 19th year at Madrid Middle School. I hold a B.A. degree in English and Spanish and a B.S. in Education. I also have a Masters degree in Reading and Literacy as well as a Multiple Subjects credential with Authorization to teach English Language Development and Introductory English. I have taught all grade levels from 5th to high school.
Mission Statement
My goal as a teacher is to provide the best possible education for all my students. I seek to challenge each individual to achieve his or her highest potential. I set high expectations and I strive to do everything I can to help students achieve their goals. I believe parents are the primary educators of their children and I make every effort to work in collaboration with them to ensure the child's success. I try to provide a warm, safe environment where children can grow in academics as well as citizenship.
